Insanely Cool Tools - Substack Edition #19
Best tools in your pocket! 📱
Hello! 👋
A few quick updates today:
Last week I have shared with you that I launched a new tool - Invcly!
A simple invoicing tool for freelancers and small businesses. The best part? It’s free, and it will always be free. No cards, no payments. Just free.
I also mentioned there were some bugs to fix. Over the past week we’ve addressed most of them, so I’d say it’s 97% ready to use (why 97%? I don’t know.) 😅
Give it a try, share it with friends, and if you’d like new features or run into any issues, let me know!
From last week’s vote - and wow, almost 800 people voted!
It’s pretty clear we’re split down the middle: about 50% of you use Apple laptops, and the rest are on Windows or other platforms.
So from now on, I’ll make sure to feature more apps that work across both, just like I’ve been doing with mobile apps covering iOS and Android.
Thanks for participating! 🫡

Pawse
An acoustic regulation system for dogs. It plays scientifically structured audio through your Apple TV or iPad while you’re out - frequencies and patterns calibrated for canine hearing, not human preference.
AccountyCat (Mac Only)
A focus companion for macOS that reads context instead of blocking lists. It sits in your menu bar, sees your active app and window title (and takes a screenshot only when needed), then quietly nudges you when you drift.
Five Clues
A daily word game with an AI twist. You get up to five clues, one at a time, and have to guess which AI tool is being described. Think Wordle, but instead of guessing a word, you’re identifying an AI product like Midjourney, Perplexity, or Claude.
Sign-Off
If you try anything from this list and it sticks, hit reply!
Always curious what actually makes it into people’s daily stack.
See you next week! 👋
